How To Get New Clients For Your Business

Getting new clients to work with does improve the life span of a business. Most entrepreneurs find it difficult to get new clients for their business which is not meant to be.

For a business to grow clients are needed mostly new clients, working with new clients reshape some business loops and it shows that your business is moving on a nice track. And when you get a new client, make sure that you don’t fail them and you should try all your possible best to satisfy them.

In this post I will be talking about how to get new clients for your business and they are highlighted below:

Donate To An organization:

You can get new clients to work with by donating to an organization like school, church, orphanage homes etc. If you are donating to a school or church, donate when they are organizing an event and they need sponsors.  It is not necessary you donate money, you can donate items needed for the events or goods, and all you just need to do is to contribute to that organization.

You don’t expect to get clients immediately you donate to an organization, NO! But during the period of the event, you will get noticed. For instance, you donated to an organization event, so during the event they will list the names of donors so as to show appreciation to you and by so doing you will get notified. People would love to know who you are by taking time to research about you and when they find you and if they are interested in your niche they would love to patronize you.

Attend Seminars:

Try to attend seminars that are pertaining to your niche, speak with the organizers and if you don’t know the organizing committees try to search for them, talk to them about your products and how they can benefit from it.  Or better still if it’s a seminar  that you are called to speak about a topic and the topic is similar to your niche, talk to people about the topic encourage questions and answers, help them with any type of problem they might be having, introduce yourself , tell them about your company and how they can benefit from it, try to give them a handout or cards with all your information on it so that they will be able to contact you whenever they need you and if they know of any person that is interested in your services they can easily direct the person to you.

So whenever you are attending a seminar always try to take along with you your business posters or cards also if your business deals with manufacturing stuffs you can hold some of your products along with you so that you can give it out to people who you will be talking to about your products.

Partner Up:

Partner up with people who are in similar niche with you so that whenever they get a client that needs your services they can easily direct the person to you. For instance I do sell real food stuffs like uncooked rice, uncooked beans etc you can partner up with people who are selling the cooked food stuffs so that when they help get a clients like I said earlier they will introduce them to you also if you get clients that needs their services you will easily direct the person to your partner, it’s just like referral.  This method works fine, my mom partnered up with people who are operating in similar business with her.

So whenever any of her business partner get a new client for my mom, they will send the person to her office also tell the person to tell my mom that they were sent to her from her business partner. That’s how it works, no fee is involved is just co-operation that matters.

Testimonials:

Testimonial matters a lot in business. Testimonials serves as proof to clients, most clients do love to see your testimonials before they can work with you, because they believe that testimonial show how good you are in business. So that’s why it is always good to ask for feedback from those clients you’ve worked with, let them share their feelings also tell how the service you offer to them had helped them.

If any client doubts to work with you, a testimonial will convince them, they would love to give you a try when they see the clients you’ve worked and how they express their minds, they would love to give you a try. Like they say”Records don’t lie” I believe testimonials don’t lie. So go for it.

Build Good Relationships:

Yeah, build good relationship with your existing clients so that they can help you with your business. They will help you by telling friends about your business, so that if any of their friends need your service, he or she will come over to patronize you.

That’s why it is always advisable for you to build a reputable relationship with your customers, so that you can gain from them. The word on every customer’s mouth is powerful, so the way you treat them will determine the growth of your business. So treat them well so that they also can treat you perfectly well.

Hi Samuel

I am just setting up my home business and started selling my sourced products last week. I have started collecting testimonials from satisfied customers and will be putting them up on my site. Also comments about the lavender parties I am holding. I have begun to carry my business cards around in my handbag as often when I am out socially and people ask what I am doing; they then ask if I have a business card. Only this morning I met a woman in a cafe who recognised me from photo on my blog! Introduced herself and her friend and wanted my business card.
Networking is very important for a successful business I do believe. Thanks for sharing Samuel.

Do you think freelance websites would also work – looking for clients there and saying you are part of so and so business?

I have been in business for YEARS, and I can tell you that one of the best ways which is consistent is through classified ads. It depends on your business type, but Craigslist has a category for most everything. On top of that, I have gotten tons of new business from just having a blog and writing what I know about. I get daily emails and phone calls from people looking for what I offer. Whether it be web design, seo, ebook writing, consulting, whatever. If you bring traffic into your offer page or site, then somebody is bound to become your new client. It’s as simple as that.
