Interview With Tyrone Solee From Millionaireacts

This is an awesome interview with Tyrone Solee from millionaireacts. A guy I do call the financial freedom guy. I guess you will want to know why I do call him the financial freedom guy, read on then you will get to know.

# Hi, could you please tell us a bit about yourself?

- Hello. I'm Tyrone Solee, a Mathematics graduate of Ateneo De Manila University, one of the top colleges here in the Philippines.

# I know you as the financial journey guy, so how long have you been on the journey?

- I've been on this journey since I was 25 years old when I first began my study about investments.

# How did you come up with the name Millionaireacts?

- I came up with the name Millionaire Acts upon seeing the documentary film "The Secret". The film talks about dreams and aspirations in life. It simply says that "when you want something, all the universe will conspire in helping you to achieve it." You just have to think and take the necessary actions towards achieving it. Back then, I wanted to become a millionaire someday. That's where I came up the name "Millionaire Acts" for my domain. I wanted to know how a millionaire acts. I wanted to know what millionaires did in order to achieve their millionaire status because I wanted to become one of them.

# Tell us what Millionaireacts is all about?

- Millionaire Acts is a compilation of all my learnings towards achieving financial freedom. It tackles topics covering business and entrepreneurship, investments, personal finance, and self-motivation. I want to educate financial literacy to everyone in order to lessen poverty and improve their lives. I want them to join my journey towards it and learn from my experiences.

# For how long have you been on the blogosphere?

- I started blogging April of 2008 in my old domain in blogspot. However, things got serious when I transferred to Millionaire Acts which is a wordpress blog last November 2008. Since then, I've learned a lot about blogging and made a lot of friends.

# How can someone who wants to embark on the journey to financial freedom starts?

- It's not too late for everyone to start their journey towards financial freedom. Each should start by examining their current status. It should be the starting point. However, the earlier the better for the early bird catches the worm as they say.

In every journey, there should be a starting and ending points. Once starting points are defined, you would then need to identify your goals. Make sure that it is S-M-A-R-T, meaning, S for Significant, M for Manageable, A for Achievable, R for Realistic, and T for Time-Bound. Next is to plan the route towards achieving it. Stick to that plan and follow it with discipline. For sure, you would have a lot of challenges along the way but if you're very determined to achieve it, then you would surpass all those challenges. After all, failures are part of every success.

# When investing, do you think economy really matters?

- Yes, of course. Almost all investments depend on the status of the economy except perhaps for Gold which is the most common safe haven of investors. Each investment is dictated by the law of supply and demand. However, for the intelligent investors, they should invest where there is a blood on the streets. With proper understanding and due diligence, there is a huge opportunity because posted by low prices.

# Who are your role model?

- My role model is Robert Kiyosaki, the famous author of the best selling book "Rich Dad Poor Dad". I've been reading a lot of his teachings. It's very practical.
