There are many times I just wonder why some companies are progressing and others are not. In the business world, there are different markets for every company or organization regardless of what you are offering i.e. you selling products or rendering services. When you are in the right market at the right time, you have some edge over your competitors and they are:
- Your Knowledge:
Before you start any business, get educated, when talking about education I am not referring to college, I’m talking about wealth school. In colleges, they don’t teach how to make money but how to work for money. So learn how to make your money work for you.
Know the cons and pros about the business world in order to avoid possible risk in your entrepreneurship journey. Failure to stay high in the learning mode will really affect you and I’m sure you don’t want that kind of thing to happen to you? So get educated in order to learn how to make money work for you. Also in order to know more about the business world.
- Get A Business Coach:
You cannot do it all alone, get professionals that can advice you on how to go about things in the market and the business you are trying to venture into.
When you get a business coach, you are investing and you will surely get your money back. Because the business coach will put you through and help you out in order to overcome any obstacles in the business world. And by doing that, all will be moving fine for you and you will be happy with your business.
- Your Marketing:
This area is very important if you want to go far but there is one secret I know that have worked for many organizations. Put yourself in the shoes of your customers:
- Understand your customers
- Empathize with your customers
- Contribute to the life of your customers, don’t let everything be your gain let it be 50-50, add value to every transaction and love your customers. Don’t treat your customers like customers but like yourself.
- Your Systems:
Educate your customers about what to do and why they must buy from you. Remove customer’s perceived risk by letting them sample your product free of charge. Carve out your own niche out of the market. Advertisement is the last option you can use to build your business because it is the most expensive and least effective. Be unique in your system, let there be something different in the way you treat your customers.
- Your People (Employees)
Your employees are not there when you brought up the idea of setting up the business; they don’t know what you want, so sell the picture to them. Let them know your goals and vision for the organization.
Create a fun-filled environment to help your people enjoy the struggles of the journey. Get everywhere to share in the excitement and the satisfaction and let them know that they’ll be rewarded if the vision is fulfilled.
Help your people to buy into the company’s future, show that you respect your people, care about them and appreciate what they do.
Conclusion:
With these five critical advantages you have over your competitors, you can do exploits in the business world. Be unique and be different. Also stay Focused; you have to stay focused, do not be jack of all trades or else you are on your way out from the market. In anything you will do in this life, always try to stay focused and never try to fall for anything. These are the five secrets you don’t know about your organization you must know to succeed.

Hi Daniel & Samuel
Thanks Daniel for such an informative post. Really enjoyed it. I agree with you that we have to find our unique voice and definitely have our own branding.
There is so much competition on the net that without offering and delivering excellent customer service and extras that the competition doesn’t; it will be hard to get ahead of the competition.
With my on-line customers I gift wrap their parcels and put in a hand written thankyou card. For regular customers they will get a surprise gift in with their order.

Hey Daniel & Samuel,
Thanks for the awesome guest post!
I really liked the part about getting a biz coach. Everyone needs someone they look up and learn from starting out. I am always looking for ways to develop from people I know have had more experience in the business world than I have. It’s all about how willing you are to keep developing for the better and I’ll say it a million and 1 times if i have too!
As for blogging marketing is the other half to your pie. You can write the best content the world ever has the chance to read, but if you don’t market it they never will. So, marketing is very important to people hearing about your business and what you promote.
Thanks again!
God bless,

Thank you Samuel and Daniel for such informative post.
I think a lot of people do not see the value of having a business coach from early on. Plus, most people forget the fact that no one can do everything all by themselves.
Everyone needs help sooner or later in order to take their business to the next level. I just think that the sooner people understand this the better it is for their entrepreneurial endeavor (O:

Hi Adam,
A business coach will help you out on a long term run! I’m glad you love the post. Thanks so much!
Hey Daniel
I definitely agree with you that all beginning entrepreneurs should invest in themselves by investing in a business coach. Of course, a business coach is not necessary to become successful as an entrepreneur but the learning curve may be quite steep. If you’re an internet entrepreneur i firmly believe that you MUST invest in a business coach. The internet is highly volatile and always changing beast. If you don’t have an internet business coach, you may be simply find yourself catching up or way behind the trends.
Personally I think that the internet business model is amazing. You’re able to have a business that if executed effectively, will work for you 24x7x365. You pay no building rents, you don’t need any employees, building permits, inventories, etc.
Your expenses are smaller and profit margins are much higher!

So true Daniel!
“In colleges, they don’t teach how to make money but how to work for money.”
Whether you are a janitor or a doctor you are a worker who depends on a paycheck at the end of the month. The only difference is that you work more and you are more educated in the latter case – a slave with more skills.
Hi Mattew,
That’s just the fact bro! Thanks so much for the comment!
I think there’s always going to be one advantage that you have over everyone else, and that advantage is summed up in one word: “you”. No-one else can be “you”, and that will inspire you to do things that only you can do.

Hi Stu,
You are right bro! That’s just the fact! Thanks so much.
Awesome, Daniel! Mentoring is a must for any beginner entrepreneur in order to avoid a long learning curve, if not quiting the venture. R. Kyosaki himself had his “Rich Dad” as his mentor, who taught him the secrets of having “money work for him” and not the opposite, as school systems teach. His “Poor Dad” was highly educated but a modern slave. thanks a lot!

I’m reading a book now called The Referral Engine, and it gives some insight into the why and the how for treating your own employees like customers (ie you want to go out of your way to make them happy). Once they’re happy, your own employees will start to be some of your best referral sources.
