If you have gotten the business startup idea you want to transform into a reality but you don’t know how to transform it, read on and you will get to know how you can go about it.
The hardest part for many entrepreneurs is executing their idea. They might have gotten the great idea but to execute it, they find it difficult to do. Why? They might be looking for the next step to take or even scared of dishing it out.
The more time you waste on a business startup idea, the more the idea will be dying or someone else will execute it. So, to transform your idea into a reality you must be smart and fast. You don’t know who is thinking about the similar idea with yours. Bothering yourself about if it will get perfect will get you nowhere. So stop wasting time on a startup idea.
Steps To Take In Order To Transform Your Idea Into A Reality:
- Chat With Experts:
Most of you might be scared of sharing your startup idea with someone so that the person will not run away with the idea. I do have that kind of mindset before; it’s of recent when I got convinced that keeping your idea to yourself will help do no good.
Before sharing your idea with people, know the kind of people you want to share it with. Try to look for people who are in the game before you, people who are professionals in the game. Though this does not really matters, you can still share it with people who are in the game but they are not yet professionals. You just have to watch the kind of person you will share your business idea with.
Chatting about your business idea with experts will open your eyes to something’s you never knew. Don’t be scared to discard your business idea because when you share an idea with an expert and you both find out that the idea is not worth transforming into a reality due to one reason or the other, try to discard it and look for another startup idea you can start. But if you think that your startup idea has a bright future, go ahead and give it a shot!
When you chat with expert about your idea, and if the idea is worth trying, they will share with you tips on how to turn it into a profitable one in order to yield positive results. Embrace the mindset of sharing your startup idea with people you trust and forget about someone stealing your idea.
- Take Research:
You need to take research on your startup idea. Try to know who your competitors are and what they are lacking in order to implement it so as to stay ahead of them.
You can also apply this logic when taking your research, try to know the customers who patronize your competitors and ask them what they feel about your competitors and what they want your competitors to do for them in order to serve them better.
That does not mean you should be monitoring your competitors here and there because if you should do, you are just wasting your time. The time you used in monitoring your competitors, you might use it to do something productive.
You just need to take proper research about who your competitors are in order to get prepared and know how you can stay ahead of them. Trying to get your competitors customers in order to interview them (not all) has to do with strategy so as not to get busted.
- Build Your Team:
To be candid, if you want to win big in the business world, you must build your team. Because it’s lonely at the top. To win, you alone can’t do it. You need to surround yourself with people who are smarter than you in order to lift you up and help build a great business.
So if you are looking for cofounders who will work with you in order to transform the idea into a reality, try to look for people who will fill up the space you are lacking.
For instance, I want to start a tech startup, and I know that I’m not a good developer. But to do it, I need to find a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who will work with me in order to transform the startup idea into a reality. So try to know the space you need someone to fill up and look for the right person who will fill up the space in order to get something doing.
- Do You Have A Unique Knowledge Of Improving It?
Though this would be asked by the person who you are sharing your startup idea with. Before looking into a startup, you must have a unique knowledge of improving by being innovative - doing the old things in a new way.
Another entrepreneur who starts a startup without considering this category is likely to fall off the board. You must be ready to give the game a life in order for the universe to reward you. If you can’t, don’t even bother to start the startup.
Be innovative so as to last long in the business world. Also by being innovative you will make your startup a profitable one. I’m sure you don’t want to do the same thing your competitors are doing? You have to think outside the box in order to dwell on the mountain top.
- Create It:
After doing all this, try to get your hand dirty by executing the idea. The more time you waste in execution, the faster your startup idea dies. Don’t bother about perfection because if you should do. You will regret ever trying to transform your idea into a reality.
Stop wasting time, you just have to screw up and do it! Or “Just Do It Like NIKE” By the time you start, you will get to know other steps to take but if you don’t give it a shot, how will you know the next step to take? I’m urging you to get your hands dirty and stop wasting time. See you at the top.

Hey Sam, glad you brought this topic up, i can say from my 8 years experience that the most crucial factor towards turning your idea into a business is to GET STARTED. People fail to realize their dreams because they never start , they are scared they may fail. Build a plan, stick to it and as time progresses you will start learning more about your product.

You are right Elias! That’s just the fact behind transforming your idea into a reality! Thanks so much for the awesome comment.
Hi Samuel – I agree that you have to take action. You’re right that it should be fast; speed of implementation is definitely something to consider. You never know when someone else is planning a similar approach so just be the first to get out there and start!
Teams. So important. We really shouldn’t try to conquer the world alone, my friend. You’re spot on there. Selecting the proper team is key but most people seem to get snagged at the “overwhelmed at the thought of a joint venture” part of it.
Thanks for the read!

Hi Jon,
Working with people who are smarter than you will help you break new grounds. Love your awesome comment Jon! Thanks so much
Great advise Samuel.
I especially like the part about sharing your ideas.
You need help if it is your first start up and you need to ask for it.
Keeping everything to yourself means you get no help and therefor it fails.
If they steal your idea, so be it, you can come up with a new one, but the value of learning how to start a company from scratch and building a successful business in the market you are looking at is worth the risk.

Hi Daniel,
That’s just the fact! Thanks so much for the comment. You rock
Hi Samuel,
I think if you have good team then you can easily start your business and succeed as well because your work are divided as per your abilities so that you can give best to your new business. Even if you have any difficulty or any problem then you can discuss with your team and take right action as per the situation.
If you have a good team then there are less chances of failure and loss. You can manage everything quite easily.

Great tips Sam. Personally I believe in the power of mastermind groups, what you would consider “chatting with experts, in this article.
In fact, before I even began my Internet Entrepreneur Connection blog back in August of last year, I was a student of the Internet Business industry and dedicated an entire year to simply learning new skills.
Of course, like any entrepreneurial individual, I had tons of ideas running through my head during this time. I utilized my mastermind group, which was composed of other internet entrepreneurs, to ask questions and get feedback.
I was never scared that they make take an idea from me and run with it because 1) I trusted them and 2) I knew I was always going to have new and creative ideas.
But my idea from IEC came from my personal situation at the time. I brought that idea to my mastermind group and they were all very receptive about it and in fact, some helped me get started.
In short, asking experts or utilizing a mastermind group to turn ideas into realities is an absolutely great way to take action and make things happen!

Hi Hector,
Chatting with experts can be with your mentor or entrepreneurs who are in the game before you so that they can put you through> I hope you understand what I’m saying? I love your mindset man! Keep up the good work. Thanks so much!
Samuel; what a great post bro.

Sure, I will! Thanks so much for your support. God bless you.
Hi Sam,
I think most people let their idea go when they find out someone else is already doing it.
Instead you should re-define the parameters of your research. by doing this you might just discover a niche that hasn’t been catered for yet.

I can’t find businesses that have survived without partnering with someone else – it just doesn’t happen. Going singular can only take you so far. Which is why you need everyone around you to support you

Hi Samuel,
Now a days, I am planning to build a paid online web directory. I have checked DirectoryPress for this purpose but it did not serve my purpose as I want more customization. Now I am in search of a web designer who can design it for me.

You said something key about putting ideas out there and not going through with them, because the moment you do and don’t, some else will. It is a fact that the universe plays a role in our wave lengths and thought processes. It would be ‘idea’ suicide if you come up with an awesome idea, and let it fall by the wayside. “I’m just saying though!”
I don’t really get your point! Anyway thanks for your comment!
The point is to go through with the ideas…don’t leave them for someone else.
Yeah, I gat you. That’s just the fact
Hey Sam,
Thanks for the informational post! You make some awesome points here.
You have a business mindset indeed my friend. The way you think your bound to accomplish big things If you keep at it. When trying to learn more about a service or product theres no better person to talk to then a expert in the field. It’s even good to talk to anyone who has knowledge on the subject. You are good at reaching out to people my friend, because I sware everywhere I go you owe someone a email lol. That’s good though, because you know the importance in connecting with like minded people.
Well guess what? This time I owe you a email. ( ;
On another note, Building a team is the best way to go. One must build a team of member where everyone is the best at what they do. I have plans of putting a team togther with 2 of my friends their rappers. Also on other member and he’s into photography. That would make 4 of us who all specialize in totally different things, but can all help each other out.
I plan on building a team of bloggers to cut the workload even. Like maybe no more than 3 of us blogging. Like a side team aside from the main team. Does that make sense to you?
Thanks again!
God bless,

As far as building your team, you also shouldn’t think only in terms of adding employees. Other businesses can be tremendous assets when building your own business. They can refer business, and they’re often a great source of wisdom.

I feel the biggest problem one can encounter when wanting to start his first business is the wrong places he turns for support. I was in the situation where i had a great business idea but friends and family kept bringing me down by saying i don’t have enough money, i’m not prepared enough, i won’t find buyers, etc. and that really discouraged me.
I never did start that business because by the time i finally decided, the moment was gone. But since then i started a few others that work pretty well.

I have a business idea which i dont think anyone in my area has taken advantage of. It involves giving bars and restauraunts the oppourtunity to advertise their offers, facilities, upcoming events etc to a large number of people on a monthly basis. There is a similar business locally that gives builders, taxi firms and keep fit classes etc a chance to advertise their businesses in hope of gaining extra work. I dont know whether my idea would be in breach of any copyright or something like that and i dont know how to find out. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
